Registration preparation

Fixed price project

Everything your auditor asks for, ready in four to six weeks.

You need to register with the NDIS Commission, and that means an approved auditor goes through your documents. We write the policies for the supports you deliver, fill in your self assessment, and build an evidence folder indexed the way the auditor will use it. Your nominated people get two 60 minute sessions before the interview. After the audit you get two rounds of responses.

One project covers one provider entity at one agreed scope. The fixed fee is A$790, A$1,890 or A$3,290, depending on your pathway. We do not charge GST, so that is the amount you pay. View fees for the payment split and the separate auditor cost.

Your pathway and your price

Which pathway are you on?

The Commission confirms your supports and modules, and that decides whether you sit on verification or certification. Its audit types page and its registration groups page set out the difference. We put your scope in writing before any paid work starts.

Do you deliver SIL or high intensity supports?

If you do, certification has to cover that scope and the price is A$3,290.

If you do not, certification is A$1,890.

Verification is A$790, and it applies only when the Commission puts you on the simpler pathway. We do not charge GST, so these are the amounts you pay.

Verification, A$790

For providers the Commission puts on the simpler pathway, where the auditor reads your documents rather than visiting your service.

You get the policies your scope needs, a filled in self assessment and an evidence folder with an owner against every item.

Certification, A$1,890

For providers on the core practice standards, without SIL or high intensity, where the auditor reads your documents and then visits.

You get everything in the verification pack, plus two 60 minute sessions that get your nominated people ready for the onsite questions.

Certification with SIL or high intensity, A$3,290

For SIL and high intensity providers. The approved auditor also works through the module evidence for those supports.

You get everything in the certification pack, extended to your SIL model and to the high intensity module where it applies.

One project fee covers one provider entity, one agreed scope and one site. Add a site, an entity or a module and we price that in a written change order first. Renewals and re-certifications run on the same pathways and the same prices.

Changed your mind? If we have not started, you get the whole deposit back. If we have, we keep only what covers the work already done, and you get the rest back with the amount in writing first.

Your first month of monthly support comes free with a registration preparation project. Take it and you are committing to months two and three at your tier. That is A$398 for Micro, A$698 for Standard or A$1,258 for Complex. Turn it down and nothing about your project changes. The free month starts after final pack delivery, and only if you activate a monthly order. View monthly support fees.

What's included

Seven things arrive, and here is each one.

  • A written scope naming your entity, your supports, your modules, your sites, who owns which record and what is not included.
  • Policies written to your roles and your workflows, each one versioned and carrying its own review date.
  • A self assessment filled in, with the evidence referenced against each answer and the open questions flagged for you.
  • An evidence folder with a consistent naming rule, a named owner on each item and a tracker for what is still open.
  • The questions your auditor is likely to ask, the evidence prompts for each role, and up to two 60 minute sessions to rehearse them. The principal runs those sessions at no extra cost, at times you pick. If you would rather prepare in writing, we do it that way instead.
  • A brief for your auditor, a log of every request and response, draft replies for you to approve, and a handover pack at the end.
  • Two rounds of responses after the audit, within the agreed scope. If an approved auditor identifies a nonconformity that traces directly to a document we prepared, we correct that document free of charge under the engagement terms.

Contents by pathway

What your fee buys, tier by tier.

Your pathway decides how far the policy suite, the self assessment and the evidence work extend. Read this before you pay.

Verification, A$790
Your scope written down, then the policies that scope needs, each one versioned with a review date. A self assessment filled in and referenced to your evidence. An evidence folder with owners and a tracker for open items. The interview pack and up to two 60 minute sessions. A brief for your auditor, and two rounds of responses after the audit.
Certification, A$1,890
Everything in the verification list, prepared for the core practice standards audit. That audit is a document review followed by an onsite visit, so the preparation covers both. SIL and high intensity scopes sit in the next tier, not this one.
Certification with SIL or high intensity, A$3,290
Everything in the certification list. It extends to your SIL model, and to the high intensity daily personal activities module where that applies. You get the SIL specific evidence set, a wider evidence map and mock interview prompts. The real practice evidence still comes from your service, because only you have it.

The policy suite

The suite covers whatever your agreed scope needs: governance and compliance, participant rights and privacy, incident and reportable incident management, complaints, and risk. It also covers worker screening and HR controls, induction, training and supervision, emergency and continuity planning, service delivery records, feedback and continuous improvement.

Restrictive practice controls are added where they apply. Each policy is filled in, versioned and assigned to your real roles and workflows. You do not get an empty template folder.

Not included in the fee

  • You pay your auditor directly and they set their fee.
  • You lodge the application in your own name.
  • Your clinician writes and signs any clinical content, and that cost is yours.

How registration preparation works

From scope to handover.

Scope brief

You tell us the supports you deliver, where you are up to, the pathway you are aiming at, your sites and your dates.

Scope agreement

You sign the engagement and make the first payment, then send the intake through the secure form and confirm the written scope.

Pack build

Drafts come back to you: the policies, the self assessment, the evidence folder, the owners and whatever is still open.

Handover

We get your nominated people ready, hand the pack to the auditor you appointed, and work through two rounds of responses with you.

Most projects run four to six weeks, counted from the signed engagement, the first payment and a complete intake. That is an estimate rather than a date we can hold on our own. The clock pauses whenever we are waiting on your evidence or your approval.

Application already lodged? Then the audit is next. We write or update your policies, index your evidence folder and brief your people for the audit interview. After the audit you get two rounds of responses. Tell us your audit date if you have one, and within one business day we will confirm in writing what can be done before it.

If you missed 30 September, the transition no longer protects your SIL delivery.

What stays with you

What your team does.

We can write the policy. Only your team can work that way on a Tuesday afternoon and write down what happened. You give us the facts and the existing records we build from. For SIL or high intensity work, your registered health practitioner writes and signs the clinical material.

Ready to start?

Tell us the supports you deliver, your sites and the date you are aiming at. You get back your pathway, the fixed fee and the next step, in writing. Your first month of monthly support comes with the project if you want it.
